Privacy Policy

J. Timothy King

I respect your on-line privacy. Therefore, I collect and share your information only as disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

What Information I Collect

I may ask for your name and email address, such as to subscribe you to an e-newsletter or other email list or to provide you an informational product or service. Any e-mail or other message you send me may be archived. I also may keep track of your IP address, log the “referrer” and other fields of web transactions, and use cookies.

I may ask for your mailing address and other information, in order to send you physical materials at your request. Any correspondence you send me may be archived.

How I Use This Information

If you sign up for a mailing list or newsletter, I may send you email related to these. You may unsubscribe from any email list at any time, and instructions on how to do this are included in each email message.

I may also use the information I collect to gather statistics and to improve this web site and its offerings.

I will not share your personal information with third parties unless I first inform you, you ask me to, or I am required to by law. I will keep this information as secure as I do other confidential information. However, I may share aggregate statistics with advertisers or other third parties.

I feel strongly about protecting the privacy of children. The Conscience of Abe’s Turn does not include content targeted at children, and may address topics inappropriate to children. No personal information should be submitted via this web site by users younger than 18 years old. Users younger than 18 may not subscribe to e-newsletters or any area of the site that requires submitting personal information.

Third-party Services

I contract with various service providers in connection with this web site. For example, I use a third-party hosting provider and a third-party email-list service. Some of these service providers have access to your personal information by nature of the service they provide. I make sure (and it is in my best interests) that their policies support this Privacy Policy.
